CrossFit Workshop: Running

The CrossFit Workshop: Running is an intensive single-day course that teaches participants how to improve technique and increase safety for improved economy and performance. Under the guidance of Pose Method founder Dr. Nicholas Romanov and his team, participants will learn from class discussion and innovative drills before leaving with a newfound ability to run fast and efficiently.

Learning objectives

The CrossFit Workshop: Running enables participants to:

  1. Run faster and longer, as well as improve aerobic capacity.
  2. Self-correct running technique to maintain good form for any distance.
  3. Prevent common running-related injuries.
  4. Significantly reduce muscle stress.
  5. Reduce heart rate after running.
  6. Reduce energy expenditure when running.
  7. Recover faster after running

Certificates

Sent electronically 1-2 weeks after course completion to the email address used for registration.

Language

The default language for the CrossFit Workshop: Running is English. In some countries, a translator is provided. Lecture and small-group practical sessions are translated in real time. Courses with a translator are specified in the "Language" section from the event registration link. Generally, translators are used in Latin America and some countries in Europe and Asia.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Upon successful completion of this course, a Certified CrossFit Trainer may claim eight CEUs towards their continuing education.

US $349 or equivalent for courses in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom.

  • Notebook with pen/pencil.
  • Suitable clothes and shoes for working out and coaching.

Requirements

Those who attend the CrossFit Workshop: Running receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Note: The Pose Method offers a Running Technique Specialist credential. This is a separate course outside CrossFit that allows attendees of the Running Workshop to further their education and sit for an online exam.
