CrossFit Workshop: Dumbbell

The CrossFit Dumbbell Workshop is a single day course that teaches ways to incorporate dumbbells into CrossFit training. This workshop is a hands-on, fast-paced, and fun-filled experience where participants learn how to best use this simple and effective tool to energize their programming and workouts.

Learning objectives

The CrossFit Dumbbell Workshop teaches participants to:

  1. Perform foundational functional movements with dumbbells.
  2. Identify specific advantages to functional movements performed with dumbbells.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to convert classic CrossFit workouts to their dumbbell version.
  4. Demonstrate the ability to create and scale dumbbell workouts following Crossfit methodology.
  5. Develop strategies for incorporating dumbbells into group training with limited equipment.

Prerequisites

None. However, an understanding and familiarity of basic CrossFit principles and movements will greatly enhance the participant's ability to apply the information. 

Certificates

Sent electronically 1-2 weeks after course completion to the email address used for registration.

Language

The default language for the CrossFit Workshop: Dumbbell is English. In some countries, a translator is provided. Lecture and small-group practical sessions are translated in real time. Courses with a translator are specified in the "Language" section from the event registration link. Generally, translators are used in Latin America and some countries in Europe and Asia.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Upon successful completion of this course, a Certified CrossFit Trainer may claim 8 CEUs toward his or her continuing education.

US $349 or equivalent for courses in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom.
